Wire EDM Operator

Position Summary:

This fast-paced position requires the candidate to have the ability to manufacture components to customer specification, using Ram, Wire and Small Hole EDM skills. Scheduling and preplanning of workflow for the Ram EDM equipment and needed tooling will be a necessary skillset. Ability to work independently with general direction from management or perform tasks when given specific work instructions, will allow this candidate to succeed in the environment.

Position Responsibilities:

• Setup and operate wire edm machines, GF Charmilles cut 550P, cut 200sp, cut 300, 240, 440cc

• Setup and operate cnc hole-poppers, Belmont and Titan.

• Setup and operate surface grinder and wet grinder.

• Maintain quality control of parts being manufactured.

• Deburr and bead blasting as required to prepare parts for shipping.

• Day shift position with possible swing shift if necessary.

• Maintenance of machines as required.

Position Required Skills and Qualifications:

• 2 years of experience desired.
• ability to multi-task as cycle time allows.
• ability to work well with others.
