We are actively seeking a Project Manager / Marketing Intern for our Summer Internship program. The right candidate is a motivated and talented person with a passion for facilitating communication between external clients and internal teams. You can multitask between several different projects and several different tasks at a time and must be eager to learn and assist. You must also understand the basic best practices of the main social media channels. This is a paid internship with a mandatory group project, and can be used to satisfy school credits. This is a part-time position for 4 months (November - February), with an option to extend to 6 months based on performance and need.


Project Management:

  • Assist project managers with the internal workings of projects.
  • Actively seek out information and learn processes for managing projects.
  • Assist with setting up project calendars, coordinating meetings, and doing research.
  • Assist in QA of design, content and development work.
  • Write and review documents such as briefs, plans, and project notes.
  • Facilitate communication with internal team, clients, vendors and contractors.
  • Become the lead Project Manager on internship group project.

Client Services/Marketing:

  • Social Media content creation (original content), and scheduling across all of WebEnertia's Social Media channels including our Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and our Blog.
  • Interact with the community and gather insights and reports to inform performance and future content.
  • Assist with email/newsletter marketing efforts.
  • Assist with ongoing media buys.


  • Enrolled in Bachelors or Masters degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Advertising or a related field.
  • Excellent writing skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to assist other team members in problem solving.
  • Excellent collaboration skills and flexibility.
  • Ability to work well with others, to establish and maintain relationships.
  • Ability to get things done in a fast-paced environment with limited resources and competing business priorities.

Upholds CBRE's World Class Service within each interaction and support function including but not limited to brokerage administrative services, supporting marketing initiatives, and managing corporate processes. Ideal candidate will have experience in supporting multiple Executive Level Leaders and/or Successful Sales Teams within client-facing environments. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Sales administration deliverables includes a wide level of complexity (i.e. project tracking, editing and proofing marketing templates, calendaring, distributing correspondence, preparing and maintaining files and arranging meetings, meeting minutes, budget tracking, schedule updates, etc.). Interfaces with sales professionals, department staff, etc. regarding marketing and client requirements; gathers necessary information to complete marketing tasks; works with stakeholders on appropriate methodology on creation of marketing and presentation materials. Creates and maintains a marketing template library of company-sanctioned marketing materials that may include maps, advertisements, demographic reports, and executive summary brochures for in-house and client presentations using advanced desktop, graphic, and mapping software. Creates standard listing and commission agreements; coordinates non-standard listing creation, requests and approvals with sales/client facing professional(s) and legal department(s); in coordination with other departments, maintains and tracks listings and commission agreements. Organizes the preparation and production of customized, client specific property information packages in response to Requests for Information (RFIs) and Requests for Proposals (RFPs). Generates standard and ad hoc reports as required and assist with website updates (as needed). Assists with project tracking by updating project logs, task lists, preparing project status reports. Coordinates the distribution of internal and external marketing information. Coordinates complex on/offsite meetings and conferences. May schedule appointments, keep calendars and arrange travel itineraries and meeting room reservations. Other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from 2-year college required. 3 years' experience providing administrative support to multiple or team of professionals; ability to determine and respond to conflicting priorities preferred. 2 years' experience in the Real Estate industry. CERTIFICATES and/or LICENSES None. COMMUNICATION SKILLS Ability to comprehend and interpret instructions, short correspondence, and memos and ask clarifying questions to ensure understanding. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from clients, coworkers and/or supervisor. Ability to effectively present information to an internal department and/or large groups of employees. FINANCIAL KNOWLEDGE Requires knowledge of financial terms and principles. Ability to calculate intermediate figures such as percentages, discounts and/or commissions. Conducts basic financial analysis. Ability to abstract a lease. REASONING ABILITY Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret documents. Ability to solve problems involving several options in situations. Requires intermediate analytical and quantitative skills.
