Applicants for this position must have a passion for wine along with superior customer service skills to drive sales.


  • Assists in developing sales and providing assistance to customers.

  • Continues to develop knowledge of wine and other store products.

  • Works as part of a team to keep the wine department and store organized and effectively merchandised; this includes moving, stocking and staging product.

  • May be required to assist in other departments.



  • Candidate will have good working knowledge of wine varietals, countries and regions

  • Candidate will be able to taste wines in a professional manner as allowed for educational purposes

  • Candidate will be over 21 years of age

  • Candidate will be able to lift 40-50lbs

  • Candidate will be able to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, holidays

  • Candidate will have a strong desire to provide superior customer service

  • Previous retail experience, experience in the wine and spirits industry or hospitality industry is preferred.

  • Candidates with enrty level knowledge will be considered. We provide on the job training and educational

As a Sales Operations Director, you will join an exciting new group that has been brought on to improve sales performance and cycle for 2019 and beyond. You will play a key role in global initiatives such as process and infrastructure improvements, creating visibility for sales to see customer purchasing patterns, price, etc. and being instrumental in developing services which will directly impact sales performance. In this position, you will also… * Ensure data accuracy and completeness in documenting and assessing regional pipeline, forecast and bookings. * Monitor regional forecast and booking goals; and proactively address and resolve issues impacting completion of bookings. * Lead sales forecasting and planning processes for a consistent approach in capturing weekly forecasts and QBRs. * Enhance sales productivity, enabling the sales organization to achieve increased success through simplified processes, the introduction of new tools and streamlined access to information and resources to close sales. * Serve as internal expert and primary contact in supporting the sales organization's use of internal tools, processes and protocols. * Proactively identify improvement opportunities, leading the capturing and documentation of business requirements through rollout and post-implementation evaluation. * Drive alignment with the relevant functional groups (ex. MIS, Finance and Professional Services) through the planning, implementation and evaluation phases – collectively ideating, problem solving and project planning for upcoming projects and initiatives. * Develop and prepares onboarding and training tool kits for sales team, increasing the pace to productivity and optimizing the focus and efficiency of the existing talent. * Lead the rollout planning and execution processes, including communication, training, adoption and evaluation of new methodologies, processes and tools. Qualified Candidates must have… * Bachelors' degree or higher in related field, such as Business Administration or Engineering, plus at least 5 years' related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience. * Professional experience in sales operations or other sales management or support role. * Demonstrated ability to define, refine and implement sales operations processes and procedures. * Experience introducing sales methodologies and tools to a globally dispersed sales organization. * Ability to conduct thorough analysis of complex data; translating data-driven results into actionable deliverables, messages and presentations. * Extensive experience with Salesforce, with demonstrated ability to improve sales productivity. * Strong analytical skill. * Demonstrated ability to partner with varying business groups and teams to develop cross-functional tools, approaches and processes.
