Job Description:

Associate Application Engineer

The Associate Systems Engineer is responsible for design, implementation, and support of client technologies to optimize end use productivity and experience. This role requires someone with a dedicated focus to satisfy the customers by meeting all SLAs. In addition engineering innovative technical solutions and creates strong partnerships with vendors, colleagues, and business customers to deliver new and improved mobile and desktop computing capabilities. The ideal candidate will contribute their technical expertise and establishes architectural vision for end-user computing.

Candidate Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred. Equivalent work experience and technical training acceptable

  • In-depth understanding of the Windows OS platform through 10

  • In-depth understanding of Microsoft Active Directory.

  • Proficient in DNS, DHCP, GPO, basic network protocols

  • Experience in programing and scripting languages PowerShell

  • 2-5 years technical experience managing desktop or Exchange environment

  • Experience with SCCM preferred.

  • Experience with VMWare \ Horizon software or other enterprise-level thin client solutions.

  • Proficiency in troubleshooting cross-platform O/S problems.

  • Administrate the Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) toolset

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Microsoft/VMWare certifications

  • Foundational knowledge of ITIL and IT Service Management

  • Working with cloud infrastructure environments such as Azure and

Office 365

  • Experience supporting cloud platforms such as Office 365

Responsibility/Duties:

  • Create and maintain system images, desktop and application virtualization.

  • Perform enterprise-wide system patching for OS and standard applications.

  • Perform Office 365 Exchange Online support

  • Perform Virtual Desktop Support

  • Serve as technical escalation point for client technology issues.

  • Coordinates technical support with vendors and other IT teams when necessary.

  • Researches and tests new client hardware and software technologies.

  • Participate in projects to implement new technology and perform maintenance.

  • Required to be on an on-call rotation 7x24

You will be responsible for delivering mission critical infrastructure for hosting applications on cloud as well as on-premises. This position requires great aptitude for problem-solving as well as superior technical expertise in all relevant DevOps areas particularly in scripting and programming solutions in PowerShell. Job Duties & Responsibilities: * Manage and monitor Microsoft .Net applications developed in-house hosted on-premises as well as in Azure. * Coordinate and migrate on-prem ASP.NET applications to the Microsoft Azure cloud. * Troubleshoot and identify solutions for Performance/Connectivity issues, Application functionality disruptions, Network Load Balancing, on .Net, ASP, and CGI applications. * Work together with developers and business stakeholders alike. * Maintain and promote Security, Availability, and Redundancy strategies * Develop custom scripts to increase process and system efficiency with the objective of reducing human intervention on any repetitive tasks * Provide 24 x 7 on call support (as part of an on-call rotation) Would you like to join this innovative team?
