Maintains smooth operation of multi-user computer systems, including coordination with network engineers. Sets up administrator and service accounts, maintains system documentation, tunes system performance, installs system-wide software, and allocates mass storage space.

Interacts with users and evaluates vendor products. Makes recommendations to purchase hardware and software, coordinates installation, and provides backup recovery. Develops and monitors policies and standards for allocation related to the use of computing resources.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: BS +4 yrs related experience

Install, investigate and resolve routine and complex matters of significance with computer software and hardware equipment.

Analyzes, logs, tracks and resolves complex software/hardware matters of significance pertaining to networking connectivity issues, printer, servers, and applications to meet business needs.

  • Coordinates hardware/software installations and upgrades to ensure work is properly performed in accordance with company policy. Recommends resolution to complex matters of significance and coordinates the implementation of the approved course of action.

  • Analyzes and evaluates system security technology requirements against Federal, DOD, and DON INFOSEC/Cyber policies.

Maintains activity's INFOSEC/Cyber policies, practices, processes, plans and procedures.

  • Recognizes network infrastructure/architecture systems, operating systems and applications' vulnerabilities, via review of DoD IA/CND tools' (HBSS, ACAS, etc) output files and dashboards, and through the use of various other DOD/NSA inspection/assessment tools to include STIGs, Checklists, SRGs and SRRs.

  • Develops/updates the Manager's Internal Control Program (MICP) process packages for the ISSM, and provides updates to the ISSM's Mission, Functions & Tasks workbook.

MUST HAVE Skills:

Server 2008 / 2012 installation/ administration

Possesses experience/skill in the use of HBSS and ACAS dashboards and reports to assess network security posture.

Knowledge of VRAM & eMass or similar tools/capabilities.

NICE TO HAVE Skills:

Experience in Patching Pc's connected and stand-alone computers.

Experience using a helpdesk system like Remedy

Windows 10 installation and troubleshooting Skills.

Clearance Requirement: Must have Secret to Start Work

Required Baseline Certs: Security+ce or SSCP or CCNA-Security

Required Training: ACAS, can be earned after start
