Link Solutions is seeking a Windows System Administrator to join our team in Springfield, OH.

• Must possess a DoD Top Secret Clearance

• Non-remote (relocation incentive available)

The Windows Systems Administrator will oversee and optimize the performance and functionality of a suite of computers in support of the Air National Guard's Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Operations Center in Springfield, OH. This role encompasses the diligent upkeep, fortified security, and robust performance of critical systems including SharePoint, MS SQL databases, and Web servers running on Windows within our client's composite physical and virtualized (VMware) infrastructure.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide tier 1 and 2 support to a global information system.

• Manages the functionality and efficiency of a group of computers running on one or more operating systems.

• Maintains the integrity and security of servers and systems.

• Sets up administrator and service accounts.

• Maintain system documentation.

• Interacts with users and evaluates vendor products.

• Makes recommendations to purchase hardware/software, coordinates installation, and provides backup recovery.

• Develops and monitors policies and standards for allocation related to the use of computing resources.

• Develop and implement testing strategies and document results.

• Provides advice and training to end-users.

• Provides guidance and work leadership to less-experienced staff members.

• Maintains current knowledge of relevant technologies as assigned.

• Configure, manage and maintain servers within a VMWare virtualized environment.

• Maintain/apply STIGs and patches/firmware updates.

• Maintain email and database server.

• Software baseline support.
