Our client is a leader in managed security. We are seeking a Windows Network Engineer to work within a team environment. In this job you will be empowered to make decisions on project required documentation that is delivered to our customers. We are looking for someone who is strong technically with the ability to communicate specifications to a non-technical audience.
Become a Subject Matter Expert on our IP products.
Maintain a deep understanding of IP networks and the basics behind the Internet and its workings; this must extend beyond just knowing how to set up switches and routers.
Assist and advise field install/service teams and regional administrators to successful deploy our video cameras and network recorders on client networks.
Work with clients on setting up a single sign on solution using Active Directory.
Onboard users and groups using our AD adaptors/agents.
Collaborate with customer's IT, network and cyber-security teams to ensure solutions are deployed per client's policies.
Advise on merits of alternative approaches to help clients choose the best architecture for their needs. Troubleshoot and investigate connectivity, routing and authentication issues working with internal and external teams.
Bachelor's degree in a technical field with at least 3 years of experience or Associates Degree with 5 years of experience.
At least one of certifications listed: CompTIA Net+, MCSA or MCSE or CCNA or CCNP.
Familiarity with network protocols such as DNS, TCP/IP, HTTP, VPN, email routing, NAT and firewalls is necessary.
Experience with Active Directory administration tools.
Experience setting up firewalls, routers and switches and securing them.
Good documentation/technical writing skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Good typing skills and ability to operate a standard computer terminal and keyboard.
Ability to work well in a group.
Must have excellent Client interfacing skills.
Based on the requirements of the contracts being serviced S citizenship is required.
Must pass the Drug Test, the Background Check.
Required to maintain a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
Work history must display stability and consistent attendance.
Demonstrated ability to accept responsibility and carry out assigned tasks with limited supervision.
Ability to write, read and speak English fluently.
Ability to interface and communicate with customers and co-workers in a clear and professional manner.
Self-motivated and excellent attention to detail.

This position will require to 10-20% out of state travel. Our client will be covering travel cost for this position.
Our client provides Professional Services to the federal government and commercial companies. You will be working standard business hours Monday Friday.

We are seeking energetic, talented individuals that have a desire to help transform customer requirements supporting the mission critical IT service for the Pentagon Force Protection Agency (PFPA). The experienced Windows System Administrator will perform and lead team regarding system administrative duties in support of PFPA Security Integration and Technology Support (PSITS) operations including: * Lead and participate in execution of the operations and management of a group of Windows Operating Systems: Servers (2008 R2, 2012 R2, 2016) and Workstations (Windows 7 and 10) on both PFPA's Life Safety Backbone (LSB) and Joint Service Provider hosted locations. * Perform Active Directory Services administration and management to include design, cleanup and routine maintenance and configuration. * Develop or lead oversight of update, documentation and management of GPOs across complex multiple domain, network environment * Manage, monitor and respond to alerting for systems and services maintained * Implement patches and upgrades to ensure server and workstation environment in compliance with DoD STIG and Information Assurance regulations. * Support implementation of Role Based Access Control (RBAC) * Lead or provide oversight to automation of system management and monitoring using SCCM and SCOM * Support some Linux systems and scripting. * Participate in System Administration On Call rotational support roster * Lead and manage oversight of troubleshooting and tiger team resolution of operational issues * Assist in leading documentation and adherence of operational execution in compliance with program and customer change and configuration management processes and procedures * Lead or support team in establishing standard operations and maintenance activities and procedures * Coordinate, monitor and provide status updates for day to day operational concerns to customers and program stakeholders * Provide tasking and direction to other operational team members in line with Program and Operational leadership and guidance Education: Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience. Qualifications: 5-8 years of directly related experience in systems administration and analysis.
