Job Description

Operate and monitor processing equipment to control the roll winding and baling operations in the production of dissolving pulp.

Tasks

Coordinate and monitor the winding and baling operation from an automated panel board
Control the start-up and shut-down of process equipment
Monitor equipment and machinery panel indicators, gauges, level indicators and other equipment instruments to detect machinery and equipment malfunctions and ensure process steps are carried out according to specifications
Ensure customer specifications for roll / bale quality are met
Complete field inspection of equipment resolving noted deficiencies
Complete and maintain production reports
Assist the Machine Back Tender as needed.

Required skills

High school diploma or equivalent
Functional knowledge of Excel and similar programs.
The ability to understand, comprehend, and make process adjustments
Ability to read and understand process measurement techniques utilizing graduated cylinder calibration columns, rotameters, in process line equipment, and tape measure.
Ability read and understand setpoints, valve position, and trends.
General knowledge and execution of light maintenance required by the process.
Good communication skills.
Ability to bend, squat, stand, and sit as needed by the process.
Ability to lift 50 pounds.
Ability to ascend and descend stairs as required by the process.
Ability to operate a fork lift or willingness to learn.
Exhibit and execute safe working habits that comply the Company policies and procedures.
Ability to work rotating shifts.

Commercial Support Clerk ADM's Chattanooga, TN and Cleveland, TN facilities produce soft, hard, and spring wheat flours for bakeries and mixing facilities. You will gain a deep understanding of the dynamics of the business and priorities of the company. We are looking for a detail-oriented individual to perform a variety of administrative duties while working in connection with supervisory staff in Operations, Quality, Sales, and Commercial teams. This position is based out of the Chattanooga, TN location.
