Wildland Fire Suppression Specialist

• Underfill Entry ($3009.00 - $4319.00, Monthly plus benefits).

• No experience necessary.

• 18 years of age.

• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.

• Will be required to take and pass the physical fitness Work Capacity Test at the arduous level.

General Duties:

• Complete wildland firefighting activities; locates fires using maps, Global Positioning System (GPS), and compass. Will teach.

• Construct fireline using hand tools or power equipment by cutting, scraping, digging, and chopping or burning out to remove flammable materials.

• Operate many different types of fire equipment.
