Where You'll be Working

The individual selected for this role will be expected to work at Store #1557, located at:

2131 E Jackson St. Phoenix, AZ 85034

How You'll Perform the Role

  • Support the sales efforts at a Sherwin-Williams commercial paint store, servicing wholesale customers.

  • Assist customers in person and over the phone by determining needs and presenting appropriate products and services.

  • Ensure that sales transactions are completed accurately, maintaining accurate work order files and formulas, pulling appropriate products from the sales floor or warehouse, and tinting and mixing them to customer specifications.

  • Stock shelves and set up displays, clean store equipment, and load and unload trucks.

  • Assist in making deliveries if necessary.

Our Must Haves

  • These are our Basic Qualifications, hit apply if you meet all of them!
  • 18 years of age or older

  • Legally authorized to work in country of employment without requiring sponsorship for employment visa status, now or in the future

  • Be able to distinguish the difference between colors, a skill used when color matching paint, with or without reasonable accommodation

  • Be able to operate a computer and communicate via the telephone, with or without reasonable accommodation

  • Ability to retrieve material from shelves and floor stacks and lift and carry up to 50 lbs., with or without reasonable accommodation

  • Willingness to work all scheduled hours, which may include evenings and weekends, with or without reasonable accommodation

Extras to Help you Stand Out

  • Prior work experience sales or customer service

  • Customer service skills, including problem solving and handling customer complaints

  • High school diploma or comparable certification (e.g. GED)

  • Valid driver's license

  • Ability to speak more than one language: preferably Spanish

To date, we have had great success with our customers <strong>(98% retention - just saying!)</strong> and this is a key objective to maintain/ increase in the years to come, so a key focus (no pun intended) of this role will be on building and maintaining enduring customer relationships.</p><p>As the Product Enablement Specialist, you’ll have the opportunity to work across multiple accounts, technologies, projects; providing customers what they need to get started using their new product(s).</p><p>You’ll be a part of a team who guide both new customers, as well as current customers, who have purchased new products. You’ll work with a small team working to set customers up for success through a combination of training in important concepts, best practices, and hands-on exercises in their software environment.</p><p><strong>What you'll need to blow our customers away</strong>:<br></p><ul><li>Experienced with financial reporting including P&L, Balance Sheets, Cash Flow & Budgets.</li><li>Created or been deeply involved in the creation of product training content.</li><li>Led training offerings with internal or external audiences.</li></ul><p><strong>What you'll do to create a seamless customer experience</strong>:<br></p><ul><li>Train and present product concepts in an interesting and engaging way.</li><li>Manage customers communications, including scheduling engagements.</li><li>Provide customers walkthrough of product UI.</li><li>Train customer how to best utilize tools (separately and when used together).</li><li>Help customers configure products according to their needs.</li><li>Flag risk/challenges, provide recommendations.</li><li>Provide best practices guidance on using products.</li><li>Connect with customers with clarity and courtesy – verbally and in writing.</li><li>Work with customers across media such as video calls, phone conferences, email, chat.</li><li>Efficiently balance multiple requests from multiple customers.</li><li>Collaborate with other team members on technical and/or customer service challenges.</li><li>Internal team training and enablement on new or updated product features and capabilities.</li></ul><p><em>This role can be based in our Costa Mesa office or Remote </em></p><p><em>Salary Range: $90,000 - $110,000</em></p><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business.</li><li>You possess business acumen and are comfortable speaking to common practices.</li><li>You’ve work in technical environments while not necessarily being a technical expert.</li><li>Project management experience helpful.</li><li>You’re naturally motivated to resolve problems.
