Wholesale Manager

Location: Fairmont City, IL

FLSA Status: Exempt

PRIMARY PURPOSE:

Housby is seeking a motivated and self-driven Wholesale Manager to join our team! This position is responsible for developing and establishing relationships with trucking companies to assist in liquidating their trucks and equipment. This position is also responsible for representing Housby's entire menu of products and services with respect to the market.

EXPECTATIONS:

• Essential duties include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Follow the established Housby sales process.

• Contact prospective customers.

• Understand customer needs and how to meet those needs better than the competition.

• Develop relationships with new and existing customers.

• Study truck and equipment specifications and improve knowledge of product performance and application continually.

• Achieve agreed upon targets and outcomes within schedule.

• Record data pertaining to customer calls, emails, and profiles via Salesforce.

• Unearth new sales opportunities through networking and turn them into long-term partnerships.

• Remain in frequent contact with clients and understand their needs.

• Maintain and create good internal and external relationships.

• Network, e.g., attend and/or join industry-related associations.

• Appraise trucks when necessary.

• Attend sales and training meetings, as needed.

• Maintain a professional image at all times.

• Customarily and regularly engage away from the employer's place of places of business, in order to prospect and/or meet with new and/or potential clients.

• Follow the Company's safety rules and safety policies.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

Minimum of 5 years of wholesale experience in the trucking industry.

Proven track record of key account management. Excellent customer service.

Exceptional written and oral communication skills.

Valid driver's license and dependable transportation.

Exceptional computer skills.

Strong accuracy and attention to detail.

Ability to travel as needed.

Must have and follow Housby's Core Values.

EDUCATION:

High School Diploma or GED required.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Oral communication over the phone and in person.

Ability to view a computer monitor.

Sitting for extended periods of time.

Alpha/numeric keyboarding

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

The work environment for this position is varied due to the differences in our work site. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, toxic and outside weather conditions.

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

Works indoors and out.

Some weekends and evening hours will be required.

Ability to work remote but must living within 25 miles of St. Louis.
