Commercial Banking (CB) serves more than 30,000 clients, including corporations, municipalities, financial institutions, and not-for-profit entities with annual revenues generally ranging from $20 million to $2 billion. The Firm's broad platform positions the Commercial Bank to deliver extensive product capabilities lending, treasury services, investment banking, and asset management to meet our clients' domestic and international financial needs.
Wholesale Lending Services (WLS) exists within Commercial Banking and provides lending servicing functions to each of the firm's four lines of business. These functions include loan documentation, closing and funding, payment and fee processing, syndicated/bilateral loan and trade processing, credit administration and collateral perfection and management.
This position is an Executive Director leadership role within the Structured Products North America Loan & Agency Operations organization, based in Chicago.
Manage a team of ~40 employees across 3 teams responsible for a complex portfolio of syndicated and bilateral credit facilities originated by the firm
Develop, drive and sustain a culture of performance excellence; manage the professional and continuous development of managers and employees through demonstrating a range of leadership qualities and coaching techniques
Partner with internal teams to develop insightful analytics and meaningful key risk / performance metrics to accelerate delivery of a robust and scalable control environment
Develop and execute a strategic vision intended to achieve 'customer delight' including expanding listening posts and ability to measure improvements to the overall client experience program
Collaborate with transformation and project teams to deliver improvements to technology platforms including workflow and client experience tools
Develop and instal an employee recruitment and retention program intended to identify, attract and retain top talent
Influence group operating model design; lead execution of agenda to align key roles and responsibilities to centers of excellence where appropriate
Act as trusted business partner to bankers/regional heads plus senior credit risk, legal and other internal teams
8+ years financial services experience with in-depth knowledge of syndicated lending structures
Deep understanding of Commercial and Corporate & Investment Banking lending operations
Proven ability to drive and execute multi-faceted client experience and transformation programs
Exemplary leadership qualities; 5+ years' experience in similar leadership position
Demonstrable success in leading cultural change in a complex financial services organization
Consummate communication skills and executive presence; proven ability to influence at executive management level
Track record for developing high-performance teams across multiple locations
Personal desire and commitment to deliver and demand from others the highest possible level of excellence each and every day
