Overview: Our client, a leading men's undergarment brand, is seeking a dedicated Wholesale Customer Service Representative to join their team for a temporary assignment.
This role will focus on providing exceptional customer service to a select group of wholesale accounts, ensuring smooth operations and timely order fulfillment. Key Responsibilities: • Customer Support: Deliver exceptional and proactive customer service for assigned wholesale accounts. • Order Management:
Collaborate with the sales team to process customer purchase orders, input sales orders into the ERP (Full Circle), and issue order confirmations. • EDI Management: Monitor and notify the sales team of EDI 850 sales orders and EDI 860 order changes, while maintaining organized sales order files. • Item Setup: Complete item setups in various customer portals and assist finance and sales with new customer onboarding. • Logistics Coordination:
Allocate and drop pick tickets to 3PLs, ensuring timely shipping of all orders. • Invoice Processing: Invoice orders post-shipment, process returns, and manage credit memos. • Order Tracking: Daily/weekly tracking of customer POs, following up on extension requests, and analyzing vendor compliance manuals. • Communication:
Liaise with internal teams and external vendors to ensure compliance with shipping requirements, minimizing chargebacks. • Reporting: Generate weekly open sales order reports, monitor shipping logs, and track production to provide insights to the sales team. • Inventory Management: Investigate inventory shortages and collaborate with production and logistics teams to track inbound shipments against open orders. • Additional Tasks:
Assist with other projects and tasks as needed to support the team. Qualifications: • High school diploma/GED required. • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a customer service role, preferably in wholesale. • Proficiency in EDI processes and experience working with major national retailers (e.g., Walmart, Target, Amazon, Macy's). • Extensive experience with Walmart systems (Retail Link, Supplier Quote, Item 360, OTIF) is a plus. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint). • Strong attention to detail with excellent customer service, organizational, and time-management skills. • Ability to manage multiple accounts and establish priorities while working independently. • High level of competence in inventory control, movement, and distribution. • Strong technical skills and comfort with new technologies and tools. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Ability to work on-site full-time as needed, as well as remotely.
