Position Overview:
We have an exciting career opportunity to participate in driving our brand's Wholesale growth by managing and developing business portions of our Midwest and Southweast territory - (WV, NC, SC, KY, TN, GA) reporting to our Sales Manager. Our Wholesale Specialty Account Executive will represent the brand and deliver WOW service to our specialty wholesale customers. This role combines the need for proven sales experience, out of the box thinking and exceptional communication skills to ensure our relationships with new and existing wholesale partners maintain their high standards and level of business. This role requires a strategic thinker with a history of exceeding their sales goals. Ideally residing in the Midwest and/or Southeast part of the US.
Responsibilities:
Revenue Responsibility
Meet all monthly, quarterly and annual Wholesale Revenue plans assigned to you
Identify additional revenue opportunities within each account through new product offerings, events, give backs, visual merchandising changes along with other creative planning ideas
Forecast monthly and yearly projections for actual inventory units and dollars for overall goals and within specific capsule and seasonal collections
Ensure continued growth by getting creative in markets beginning to plateau
Prospecting
Develop action plan and priority list for prospecting new accounts based on given territory saturation, online sales provided and opportunity
Log all prospecting efforts on a weekly basis and report to wholesale management
Identify new opportunities while protecting our current business and ensuring continued, incremental growth
Account Maintenance
Ensure customers are meeting minimum guidelines quarterly for revenue and product assortment needs
Work directly with our sales managers and other team members to overcome challenges of growth
Collaborate with cross-functional partners (retail and web) on ideas to support brand awareness and demand in specified states
Monitor seasons ordered, dollars purchased, account sell-through, events, returns and sales performance for each account in each territory/control
Understand each account's unique Kendra Scott business and guide them using applicable best practices to maximize sales
Partner with each account to customize an assortment plan and consistently review selling to optimize sales
Support customers with merchandising, product training and advertising needs
Travel to accounts to merchandise and review successes, hold sales contests, plan events/trunk shows and show new seasons, etc.
Plan events with accounts to maximize excitement over the Kendra Scott brand with new launches, KGB's, etc.
Ensure customers are using up to date marketing and PR materials
Effectively plan/execute weekly product offerings and promotions to drive sales
Evaluate account partnerships quarterly and close accounts who are not maintaining minimums and/or representing brand standards
Together with total team, ensure coverage by travelling and attending applicable wholesale markets each season
Visual Merchandising
Educate accounts on our visual and brand standards
Partner with Visual Merchandiser to ensure standards are upheld
Support team with market set up / break down as needed
Our Ideal Candidate will have:
Bachelor's degree
1 - 3+ years' experience in Wholesale Sales
Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and ability to learn an inventory management system
Ability to operate tactically and strategically in a fast-growth dynamic environment
Passion for the brand and its core values: Family, Fashion, Philanthropy
Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.
Flexibility and ability to travel a minimum of once a month to attend markets or meetings with customers in the field.
