Job Description:

Our client is a leading specializes in ice rink construction & arena supplies. Since 1988, they have been the leader in rink systems, arena supplies, and ice rink equipment while their customers have enjoyed quality ice arena products and top-notch service from their team of experts. Our client is currently looking to add a Western Regional Sales Manager to their growing team. This position includes field promotional work to develop, manage, and sell new business accounts in a specified territory. Their three main areas of focus are manufacturing, catalog, and used products & services.

Sales Territory

The sales territory of this position will focus on Minnesota, Colorado, and Arizona. However, there will be business inquiries from states such as NE, KS, OK, TX, MO, AR, LA, MS, NM, WY, MT, ID, UT, NV, CA, OR, WA, AK, HI

Role and Responsibilities

  • Achieve the sales target in territory assigned, maintaining or increasing the profitability of the company

  • Prepare Presentations and conduct professional meetings

  • Plan annual sales plan and set achievable targets; Maintain Current Pipeline

  • Follow up on leads, contracts, quotes sent for purpose of closing sale

  • Successfully sell and market the product of the company

  • Provide a win-win solution to both the company as well as customers

  • Demonstrate products/services and identifies most appropriate solution

  • Complete expense reports

  • Complete weekly reports to Sales Manager as directed.

  • Ensure efficient delivery by communicating with company representatives

  • Use Sourcewell when applicable

  • Promote and sell/buy within the used division (with assistance from the Used Division Manager)

  • Master the internal selling system and process.

  • Make appropriate amount of 'touch calls' as defined by employee and manager.

  • Work with others, across departments, to offer a worry-free solution that is the "Becker Difference."

Qualifications & Education Requirements

  • Intermediate skills with EPICOR or equal CRM Software

  • Be an attentive listener

  • Ability to interact effectively, both verbally and written with customers

  • 3+ years database experience

  • Experience with hockey and/or ice rink industry

  • Good Negotiation skills

Immediate opening. Qualified applicant should be an experienced sales professional, energetic self-starter and someone who can work with little supervision to develop and successfully implement an effective sales plan for assigned territory. This position requires generating sales through prospecting and networking to develop leads and participate in activities that lead to sales closure. The capabilities to be marketed encompass: Radiation Protection, Industrial Hygiene, Occupational Safety, Non-Ionizing Radiation, Litigation Support, Environmental Laboratory Consulting, and Training. The assigned territory includes California, Oregon, Washington, Nevada, New Mexico, Arizona, Utah, Montana, and Idaho. This position functions from a home based office with full benefits, laptop, printer and Smart Phone monthly allowance provided. All travel expenses paid. Responsibilities * Build and maintain client relationships, source new clients, make cold calls (via phone and email). * Identify client needs and effectively promote NV5 as the preferred resource to address those needs. * Consultative selling with an emphasis on obtaining end-user commitment to use our services when the need arises. * Basic understanding of occupational safety, industrial hygiene and radiation protection (in-house training available). * Research and prepare sales trips and report trip outcomes to management. * Provide weekly activity reports. Qualifications * Prior consultative sales experience (2 years minimum) that includes relationship building, cold calling and travel planning. * Four year college degree (prefer a business or science related degree). * Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills. * Experience in selling health and safety consulting services is a plus. * Must be proficient in Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint. * Ability to travel up to 50% of time.
