Base Job Requirements: * Business degree and 5+ years of proven sales experience (four-year degree desired and sales history in industrial /material handling markets preferred)* High School Diploma and 7+ Sales experience or equivalent experience in related markets. * Proven completion of formal sales training (Internal or External)* Fluent in the MS Office suite of tools; Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook. * Ability to speak/present in a professional/persuasive manner front of a small/large group of people (including on-line video conferences). This includes the ability to write letters/emails in the same professional style.Scope: The Aftermarket Salesperson will work under the direct supervision of the Sales Manager- CBU AFT to increase sales in the western region of N. America. The individual will be responsible for proposing, developing and implementing a sales strategy and marketing activities within their region directed at meeting (or exceeding) product line sales goals for the target group of customers. The target group consists of potential new accounts and existing dealer accounts.Primary Duties and Responsibilities * To profitably grow CON sales in the Western Region. * To make customer visits (physically or virtually) as necessary to support sales growth; including the ability to conduct account reviews, training sessions, and field visits (ride-a-long) with key dealer employees. * To learn machinery classifications, track pad & respective component products for equipment and distribution channel nuance, OEM dealers, independent dealers, wholesalers, end-users, etc. * Manage the territory in a way that maximizes our distribution channel effectiveness without creating confusion in the market. This pertains to pricing discipline and respecting distribution agreements (where applicable) in the market. * To prepare and justify quotes for existing and new products in response to customer requests. * To perform in-field application analysis including trouble-shooting and problem-solving as it relates to, track pad & respective component product performance. * Gather competitive market data and present the findings to the team. * Create and present your own PowerPoint presentations. * Create and analyze data in Excel from the numerous data sources within Superior. This includes the ability to perform the following within Excel (filters/sorting/pivot tables/ V & H lookups, creating charts and graphs, and performing basic calculations in the worksheet)* Submitting travel expenses in a timely manner. * To represent Superior Tire & Rubber professionally at assigned aftermarket trade shows. * To participate in and contribute to monthly aftermarket sales meetings. * To outline and communicate travel / calls via written communication in a report format. * To identify and implement prospecting efforts within territory.Additional Duties and Responsibilities * To work in conjunction with the Sales Manager CBU AFT on creating an annual sales forecast and general sales operating plan for the target group of aftermarket accounts * To work with the Sales Manager CBU AFT to develop and implement a quarterly sales and marketing plan that meets aftermarket goals for the target group of aftermarkets accounts * To provide input / development strategy for VIP program.Travel Expectations * Planned and self-directed monthly sales trips totaling 50%-75% of the time. * Travel to Canada- Passport is required. * To adhere to the organizations, travel policy at all times.Key Performance Factors * Sales growth for target customer groups*
