Qualifications:
1.Bachelor's degree in education from an accredited college or university required.
2.Valid Michigan Teaching Certificate.
3.Must be highly qualified as defined by the Michigan State Dept. of Education.
4.Experience working with at-risk youth.
5.High degree of technology skills
6.Willingness to learn the tenants of Response to Intervention and Positive Behavior Intervention and Supports (RTI/PBIS)
7.Desire to collaborate with peers and work as a team

8.Maintains accurate and complete records as required by law, district policy, and administrative regulations
9.Other duties as assigned by building administrator

Help us do it. The Perrigo Corporate Security Supervisor will lead the Corporate Security Department's goal of providing best in practice enterprise security risk management strategies. Supervisors will take the lead and train others on Physical Security, Loss Prevention, Emergency Management, and Crime Prevention Services. These services safe guard the Company's People, Products, Places, and Assets by mitigating liability, threats, risks, and vulnerabilities. The Security Supervisor position is the face of the department; they must possess initiative and strong situational awareness along with a balanced and sound judgment; they must be service centric while also able to effectively enforce security and corporate policies and procedures; they must present excellent communication skills in everything they do; they must be able to multitask and solve complex problems; they will lead others in loss prevention strategies to protect Perrigo assets (Escorts, Audits, Inspections, Deliveries, and Patrols); they will supervise Preventative Maintenance to support all Physical Security Equipment; they will supervise crime prevention strategies to include the preparation of daily reports on events, accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities; they will supervise access control and investigative services to employees, contractors, and visitors in a professional and effective manner; and they will support Emergency and Crises Response Operations for every facility and site through the Global Security Operations and Communications Center (GSOCC). Major Tasks: * Supervise, lead, advise, and counsel line level security specialists and provide support to project and special event development/implementation/management * Coordinate and time manage every aspect of the security support provided by the line level security specialists * Provide supervision of the incident reporting process to ensure that all reports properly communicate the desired information and are maintained for accountability * Lead the Access Control Program that is responsible for safe guarding Perrigo personnel, property, and assets from diversion, theft, destruction, and physical harm * Enforce Regulatory requirements throughout the business by coordinating with other Departments and conducting inspections of their areas, and process and procedures * Evaluate and manage the response to emergency situations and coordinating that response with local/county/state emergency personnel and internal company personnel * Enforce all visitor, contractor, service provider, and employee card access policies and develops appropriate actions through complex problem solving in order to best support personnel movement and access * Manage the security systems that control, monitor, and respond to burglar, fire, and building maintenance system (BMS) alarms that protect the company's infrastructure, buildings, equipment, product, and personnel * Lead on and off shift Global response to both domestic and international emergency calls from company facilities and travelers and will develop the action plan to best respond to each emergency * Support the information accountability, communication, and response for the Global Threat and Risk Management Program and the Travel Security Program for their shift * Responsible for the support provided for workplace violence, safety issues, substantial workplace injuries, access control process and procedure violations, suspicious activity, escort of assets, vehicle accidents on company property, and all other events that would pose a risk to life, health, and safety * Manage the internal preventative maintenance and auditing program for CCTVs, locking systems, access control equipment, 911 communications, security clearances, waste disposal sites, and product transportation and disposal processes and procedures * Lead and develop emergency communications and responses for Global and Domestic sites * The Shift Security Supervisor will work a scheduled shift, additional hours, or event security unless otherwise required. Requirements: * Associates Degree required; Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice, Security Management, or related field preferred. 8 years' experience in the security industry and/or law enforcement with 3 years of prior leadership experience may be considered in lieu of educational requirement * Minimum 6 years' experience in the security industry and/or law enforcement with 3 years of prior leadership experience * Current Security Officer Certification (Certified Protection Officer, International Foundation for Protection Officers) or any other valid security officer certification preferred * Completed US military basic training, service in the active duty, military reserves or National Guard preferably as Military Policeman, Intelligence, or Infantry preferred * Bilingual skills a plus * Service in auxiliary police, police cadets, reserve police or emergency services a plus * Valid State Driver's License required * Must be able to read and follow detailed procedures Perrigo Company Corporate Allegan MI
