Job Summary

The West Coast Coordinator supports the New Coach Sales team in daily STO (Sales to Order) activities. Serve as an office based link to New Coach Sales and our factories. Work in coordination with Sales RSM and customers to finalize specifications and contracts, trades and lease opportunities. This position will also be the Onsite person to assist the Pre-Owned Sales group with Customer activities such vehicle drop off, leases as well as visits and deliveries at the Western Prevost Service center or surrounding area.

Responsibilities

  • Supports Sales in daily STO activities including securing, matching coach specifications and contracts. Serve as an office based link for New Coach Sales team to access Valet and SAP portal

  • Interfaces with Sales RSM and Customers with finalizing specs, coordinating sending of samples and documents to customers. Keeps a steady flow of information to the Sales Administration group

  • Supports the order process and systems needed by the Sales RSMs

  • Is responsible to update Customer master database and work in the CRM Tool for New & Pre-owned sales

  • Is the primary interface for "walk in" Customers for New Coach & Pre owned sales. Works in close cooperation with the Branch and Service teams

  • Is accountable for managing relevant documents and appointments (Demo Lease, Strategic Lease opportunities, trade coach, new coach) for New & Pre-owned coach deliveries at the western Regional Branch

  • Secures and develops cross-functional cooperation Regional Branches and New & Pre Owned Sales as it relates to Customer deliveries, repairs/service work and overall team spirit

  • Actively supports continuous improvement efforts within the Prevost organization

  • Coordinates with Marketing and Sales RSMs to support regional trade shows and events

  • Maintains and distributes business KPIs and special reports

  • Is the Prevost Face to the Customer for all commercial activities at the Western regional Branch

  • And all other duties assigned by Manager

  • Appropriate education or experience from international customer service

  • Logistics experience, preferable from aftermarket business

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor degree or work equivalent

  • Proficient computer skills to include Microsoft Word, Excel and CRM databases

  • 2-4 years of experience in a sales environment

  • Multi-cultural experience is an asset

  • Desired but not required : Bilingual English/Spanish or English/French

  • Desired but not required : Solid working knowledge of SAP

  • Desired but not required: Working knowledge of Bus industry

Travel

  • Some travel required 10-15% (meetings and trade shows)
  • Must be CA based willing to relocate to SF Bay area (in 2-3 years)

The coach is the glue that brings it together, and the support person that is there to help each person set up their life to succeed in creating new habits that last.
