Job Role Summary
Experienced Hire Wellwork Supervisor
As a Wellwork Supervisor you will direct well site operations at the well location in support of the Drilling & Subsurface Organization's role to conduct all worldwide oil and gas well operations with an emphasis on safety, cost, and efficiency improvement. The Wellwork Supervisor is front and center directing the action at the well site, ensuring "Nobody Gets Hurt" and protecting the environment while ensuring the well meets all well objectives.
Primary Job Functions
Direct day to day well site operations with emphasis on safety, environmental protection, wellbore integrity, cost control, and efficiency improvement.
Directly work with the Drilling & Subsurface Team (engineering and rig personnel) to execute the well program and operational procedures.
Oversee execution of rig-based and non-rig operations (slickline, wireline, coiled tubing, snubbing, pumping, etc.)
Analyze and communicate ongoing well-related performance events and steward Drill Team efforts to improve performance.
Manage interface with local regulators, onsite contractors, and other ExxonMobil functional groups (e.g. construction, production operations).
Execute program in compliance with ExxonMobil Operations Integrity Management System and Company standard operations practices.
A minimum of five years of relevant experience in supervisory positions (e.g. Company Representative / Rig Site Supervisor, Wellwork Supervisor, Tool Pusher, OIM or Rig Manager). Knowledge and experience in the areas of well control, rig equipment, wellbore design, well fluids, cement design, and geology.
High level of personal and professional integrity. Demonstrated teamwork and leadership skills, able to manage self and lead others in a diverse work team.
Strong verbal and written communication skills. Able to adapt communication style between leading onsite team to relaying technical information to office based team.
Demonstrated ability to mentor less experienced Wellwork supervisors and engineers.
Basic computing skills (Work, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Willing and able to travel to any ExxonMobil field location (domestic and international) to supervise activities on rotational work schedule. Must have valid passport that will allow for immediate international travel.
High school diploma or equivalent
Willing and able to work in malarious areas and comply with Company's Malaria Control Program, which includes a malaria chemoprophylaxis protocol
Willing and able to work in outdoor and/or remote locations in various weather conditions
Preferred Knowledge / Skills / Abilities
Bachelor's or Associate's Degree in a relevant, technical discipline (e.g. Civil, Chemical, Construction, Construction Management, Electrical, Industrial, Safety, Manufacturing or Mechanical Engineering Technology).
Familiarity with rig-based and non-rig operations (slickline, wireline, coiled tubing, snubbing, pumping, etc.)
