Chevron is accepting online applications for the position of Wells HSE Specialist Rotational through June 28th at 11:59 p.m. EST
Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:
Ensuring that drilling and completions locations are following and applying safe work practices. Provides guidance on Chevron, OSHA and Environmental requirements to key stakeholders in the field.
Coaching and mentoring on identified gaps during routine site visits. Facilitating and joining in Job safety analysis, hazard hunts and safeguard assurance activities onsite. Performs onsite site investigations and participates in root cause analysis. The position is responsible for creating site specific emergency action plans and verifying the plan.
Required Qualifications:
5+ years HSE experience in Drilling and Frac operations
5+ years HSE experience in oil and gas
Ability to work independently and collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders, internal and external.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including word, PowerPoint, excel and teams.
Proficiency in drilling and completions operations
Demonstrated communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science in Safety and Health or equivalent
Valid ASP or CSP
10 + years HSE experience in Drilling and Frac operations
Proficiency in digital software solutions including PowerBi, SharePoint, and whiteboard.
Relocation Options:
Relocationwill not beconsidered.
International Considerations:
Expatriate assignmentswill not be considered.
