What you'll be doing
Wellness team members are responsible for providing a welcoming and inclusive environment by offering great customer service. You will also assist with placing orders, receiving products, stocking, and replenishing displays.
Wellness team members report to the Wellness Department Managers.
Location & Commitments
Cordata Store, 315 Westerly Rd, Bellingham, WA
Part-time, Non-Exempt
Starting pay is $17.30/hr (range is $17.30-$20.70)
2 shifts per week plus additional shifts as needed. Hours and days vary, morning, evening, and weekend shifts will be assigned
Schedules are posted at least 2 weeks in advance
What you'll be responsible for
Providing friendly and welcoming customer service
Awareness of all promotions and advertisements
Merchandising the department to enhance shopping experience and maximize sales, including proper pricing and signage.
Stocking, rotating, and facing product according to department procedure
Maintaining back-stock areas according to department standards
Receiving product and ensuring invoice accuracy
May place orders as directed by the department managers
Cataloguing and coding invoices, separating special orders, updating and files paperwork
Ensuring department sanitation, cleanliness and safety standards are met
Performing other duties as needed and assigned
Requirements
What skills are needed
Ability to provide friendly face-to-face customer service in a fast-paced environment
Ability to learn about Wellness products
Interest and ability to gain knowledge of natural and organic wellness industry
Attention to detail and multitasking skills
Ability to speak and comprehend English well, multi-lingual is great
Must be at least 18 years of age
Physical requirements (with or without accommodation)
Ability to work in moderate and loud noise environments including, but not limited to: paging, telephones, human voices, music, and machinery.
Must be able to meet physical demands including standing, bending, twisting, pushing/pulling carts, repetitive motion, keyboarding, and lifting 10-40lbs regularly
Ability to climb ladders occasionally
