Wellness Educator

Under the supervision of the Community Health and Wellness Manager, the Wellness Educator uses data to identify community needs prior to planning, implementing, and evaluating evidence-based health promotion programs and services designed to encourage healthy lifestyles, policies, and environments. The Wellness Educator oversees the submission of communication requests, tracking/metrics, and data collection for internal and external programs.

The Wellness Educator coordinates and presents educational sessions to diverse populations and collaborates with TGH team members and community partners in the delivery of effective wellness programs. Responsible for performing job duties in accordance with mission, vision and values of Tampa General Hospital.

Bachelor's Degree Health Education/Promotion Or Bachelor's Degree Public Health Or Bachelor's Degree Exercise Science/Physiology Or Bachelor's Degree Nutrition Or Bachelor's Degree Business Or Bachelor's Degree Education Or Bachelor's Degree Related field

Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) And Basic Life Support (BLS)

Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience. Certifications required at hire or within first 6 months of employment.
