Wellness Director

Thorne Crest is looking for a Wellness Director! You'll be joining a team of individuals that are dedicated to making the lives of our residents meaningful and provide the highest quality of care! As the Wellness Director your primary purpose is to plan, organize, develop and direct wellness services and programs that support the interests and the physical, social, emotional, mental, vocational and spiritual well-being of each resident. As the Director, interdepartmental collaboration, as well as, collaboration with physicians will be vital, to ensure optimal wellness outcomes and the adoption of holistic wellness culture. You'll provide routine and caried wellness education for staff, participants, potential participants and others; as well as, maintain measurable data to routinely evaluate program participation and outcomes.

• Annual salary starts at $56,000, but goes up based on experience!
• Monday - Friday, 8:00AM - 4:30PM, with some flexibility on the hours!

What You Need:

• Bachelors degree in exercise science, physical education occupational therapy or similar.

• Specialized training in related fitness field

• Experience working with seniors or those with disabilities preferred

• Experience and demonstrated competence in a wide variety of exercise equipment, instructional techniques, injury prevention and fitness counseling

• Two (2) years of supervisory experience preferred
