WOW, I bet we have your attention, before you have even gotten to the requirements. Yes, you are responsible for, monitoring care, care plans and resident medications, assessing resident's needs, communicating with residents and their families and ensuring state compliance and regulations. This position actively participates in passing medications to our residents regularly, assists with care and monthly vital checks for residents, and assists with training for team members. Now, that you have an idea of what you're responsible for we want you to have fun being a nurse. We want you to spread that joy to your associates which spreads to residents and families. So, now with all that out of the way, here are the essential functions of your position.

Essential Functions:

  • Assure resident care and medication supervision/administration is carried out by Medication Supervisors in accordance with company policies and procedure and within State regulations.

  • Assist with medication and treatments as prescribed by physician. Monitors response to existing treatment plans, aware of prominent medication interactions and side effects; monitors residents for occurrence of such. Adheres to community's infection control policies and procedures relevant to medication administration.

  • In conjunction with the Memory Care Coordinator (if applicable), provides general oversight of Memory Care resident care and safety. Makes routine rounds in the Memory Care observing, assisting and directing care as needed.

  • Communicate and correspond promptly and compassionately to family and/or responsible party and resident concerns while upholding best interest of resident and complying with company policy and State licensing requirements.

  • Consult with and monitor services of pharmacy consultant, in conjunction with Executive Director.

  • Monitor resident care and medication assisting with team member performance and conduct retraining when needed, in conjunction with the Executive Director.

  • Coordinate and communicate resident care with third party providers including but not limited to home health, hospice, physicians, and pharmacies.

  • Implement, update, and maintain care plans and resident incident reports and assessments as required by State regulations for entry into Electronic Medical Record.

  • Conduct monthly self-medication review for residents who keep medications in their suites.

  • Assist with interviewing; train and/or coordinate training; and assist with monitoring performance of team members.

  • Assist with conduction performance counselling, both verbal and written, in conjunction with the Executive Director.

  • Rotate on call responsibilities with Executive Director.

  • Be available on-call 24 hours for emergencies.

  • Perform other duties as requested by the Executive Director.


Additional Responsibilities:

  • Attend all required meetings and in-services.

  • Be observant and aware of any situations or occurrence in the community that may pose a safety hazard to residents or staff. Report such observation immediately to the Executive Director.

  • If certified and/or trained per state guidelines, provide residents with services in accordance to physician orders in assisting with administration of medications and treatments.

  • Must remain on duty and provide essential functions for residents until shift replacement arrives

  • May act as supervisor during the night shift

  • Adhere to company policy for time and attendance.

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Proficient in written and verbal English.

  • Demonstration of ability to establish long-term relationships.

  • Interest in working with the older adult population.

  • Must exhibit and promote a high level of customer service, hospitality, curiosity and friendliness towards all prospects, residents, visitors, employees and the overall community.

  • Must have ability to work rotating shifts as needed.


Two (2) to five (5) years of prior assisted living or senior care experience.

Where: Peoria, 40 minutes west of Scottsdale & Northwest of downtown Phoenix, Arizona POSITION OVERVIEW: The Nail Technician manages the delivery of nail technician services (manicures and pedicures) and works to create a healthy, stress-free environment for clients. This position reports to the Assistant Spa & Fitness Director, and works directly with the Spa & Fitness Director. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: * Ensure the BlueStar for members and guests by modeling and maintaining the standards set in the BlueStar 10 and adhering to BlueStar Resort & Golf (BSRG) and facility policies. * Maintain a professional, confidential practitioner-client relationship; understand and use universal precautions and code of ethics when providing services. * Assess client contraindications that may prevent a service from taking place. * Remain focused on client care during the session; engage in conversations related to the client's interests and concerns. * Practice health care protocol; report any incident or accident to a supervisor. * Perform all treatments on services' menu, based on current certifications. * Know all spa services offered and be able to suggest other beneficial spa treatments * Create and maintain client cards, services provided, and treatment notes, when appropriate. * Maintain the highest level of product knowledge and ingredients; be able to explain ingredients and product benefits, and recommend products for home use with a minimum service to sales ratio of 25%.Inform Spa & Fitness Director of product inventory needs. * Maintain a clean and sanitized work environment; clean and disinfect work area daily. * Work assigned schedule; begin and end all treatments on time; ensure work areas are clean and set according to procedures. * Attend all scheduled meetings and professional trainings, as requested. * Assist staff with lifting and storing facility equipment, furniture, and products to help maintain facility and prepare for special events, as requested. * Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned.
