We are seeking a seasoned aide to join our team as a Part time Wellness Coordinator.

The Wellness Coordinator is responsible for managing the Resident Care Department schedule, specifically shifts and

assignments for Resident Care Associates. The Wellness Coordinator also will be assigned caregiving shifts as needed to

provide coverage and support for other RCAs in the delivery of quality care to the residents of the community, including

assistance with personal care ADLs (Activities of Daily Living) and SAMM (SelfAdministered Medication Management). The

Wellness Coordinator, as assigned, will assist the EnrichedLIFE Director, ConnectedLIFE Specialist and Director of Compass

Programming (as applicable to the community) by helping to plan and lead activity programming for residents. As a member

of the resident care and activity programming teams, the Wellness Coordinator supports each resident, encouraging their

independence to enhance their physical, social, cultural, intellectual and mental wellbeing.


  • Effectively manage call outs, time off requests and other issues with the schedule, finding appropriate coverage per EOEA regulations and community guidelines
  • Provide RCA coverage as needed if openings in the schedule cannot be filled
  • Manage and file schedule changes and related documents, such as approved requests for vacation, personal, or sick time
  • Ensure current schedule is accurate and communicated to RCA staff, including posting schedules in an accessible visible location
  • As directed by the RCD, support the interviewing, onboarding and ongoing training of new Resident Care Associates for both Assisted Living and Compass Memory Support
  • Report anything of significance in the scheduling process to the RCD, including but not limited to, staffing inconsistencies, overtime, hiring needs, issues related to associate call outs, etc.
  • Guide RCAs in their duties, assigning them to cover Assisted Living or Compass Memory Support Neighborhood floors; ensure that Assisted Living and Compass Memory Support Neighborhood floors are covered at all times during associate meal and rest breaks
  • Meet with RCAs at shift change to discuss issues that need to be relayed to the next shift
  • As directed by the RCD, review task sheets and medication sheets daily at end of shift to ensure proper documentatio
  • Monitor residents SAMM making the required record entries to the Medication Management Record Book at appropriate times, and notify the supervisor concerning any observed effects of self-administered medications
  • Support the RCD and Wellness Team in reviewing and auditing overnight safety checks and supporting documentation as needed


  • High School education or equivalent required
  • Strong preference for candidates who are certified as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Certified Home HealthAide (CHHA) with experience in geriatric care
  • Desire and ability to work well with seniors with a compassionate, patient and understanding manner, including individuals with Alzheimers disease and related dementia
  • Strong technology skills with ability to learn systems SLR uses: Payright/Kronos (scheduling and payroll software),Google Apps for Work (Gmail, Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides), Google calendar management, web based project management. Working knowledge of general office equipment
  • Strong time management and communication skills
  • Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English

  • Willingness and ability to learn, be coached and participate in training
  • Leadership skills with the ability to work effectively with others in a team environment and promote a culture of teamwork, cooperation, enthusiasm, customer service, and an atmosphere conducive to growth for all associates
  • Must be able to handle the physical requirements of the job including standing, sitting, bending, and moving and transferring residents (one person or two person assist), as well as physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds as required
