Wellness Assistant

Exciting opportunity at our PACE Center in Emporia! Midland Care is seeking a part-time Wellness Assistant to join our team and make a positive impact on the health and well-being of our participants.

Summary:

In this role, you will be responsible for assisting in the coordination and implementation of wellness programs for PACE participants under the guidance of our Wellness Coordinator.

Midland Cares Program of All-inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE) is a not-for-profit health care program that helps people at risk for needing nursing home care who meet a level of care requirement stay in their own homes and communities.

Employment Status: Part-time | Monday-Friday | 20 hours a week between 8:30am-3:30pm

Pay Rate starting at $13+/hr (pay is based of like experience/requirements)

Qualifications

Required: Must possess a valid Drivers License, in force automobile liability insurance and maintain a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) that meets organizations insurability standard as defined by Midland policy. Availability of reliable transportation is required for this position. Due to insurance company requirements, must be 18 years of age or older to work in participants homes. Must have one year of experience working with elderly individuals or equivalent education/training.
