The Manager, Clinical RN Admin coordinates, supervises and is accountable for the daily activities of business support, technical or production team or unit.

  • This position requires up to 100% travel throughout the state of Florida. The Regional Office is located at: 500 N. Westshore Blvd. Tampa, FL. CANDIDATE MUST RESIDE IN TAMPA or ORLANDO, FL in order to be considered for this position

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Sets priorities for the team to ensure task completion; Coordinates work activities with other supervisors; Develops plans to meet short-term objectives.

  • Clinical Program Management (development, implementation and/or on-going management and administration of a clinical program(s). Provides strategic oversight and support, measurement standards and revisions as needed for delivery of programs.

  • Identifies and resolves operational problems using defined processes, expertise and judgment.

  • Clinical Operations Analysis (monitors and analyzes medical management activities; provides analytical support to clinical programs; may perform clinical assessments and clinical audits).

  • Decisions are guided by policies, procedures and business plan.

  • Clinical Training (planning, coordinating, delivering and evaluating clinical training); Clinical Writing (writing nursing tools and reference information to support the design of clinical products and services).

  • Product, service or process decisions are most likely to impact individual employees and/or customers (internal or external).

  • Clinical Interface/Liaison (clinical problem solver with facilities, providers, carriers; resolution of issues concerning members, benefit interpretation, program definition and clarification).

Required Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience

  • Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Florida

  • 5 years of related experience in a hospital or clinical setting, with 3 years at management level or higher

  • Demonstrate proficiency in assessment, design, development, implementation, data collection / reporting, and evaluation of initiatives and / or programs

  • Experience in providing leadership and direction for long-range strategic planning

  • Proven ability to manage and direct various levels of employees

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Excellent verbal, written communication, presentation and facilitation skills

  • Ability to use logical reasoning for simple and complex problem solving

If the hired individual resides in Florida (office based or telecommuting) this position requires the AHCA Level II background check (fingerprinting) by the State of Florida for all clinicians that have direct face to face contact with members OR employees who will have access to confidential patient data and will require renewal every five years.

The LPN completes FOC screenings and documents those results on the encounter form. The LPN should communicate data to the ARNP or other specified members of the clinical team within the provider's office as needed. The LPN delivers quality customer service. Ensures policy and procedures are followed including infection control, privacy and confidentiality.
