We are seeking a passionate metallurgical artist skilled in stainless steel fusion to join as a TIG Welder, our close-knit family by our core values: Loyalty, Entrepreneurship, Achievement, and Unity. The TIG Welder will occupy a full-time, permanent position and will work at our factory located in Swanton. In this role, the TIG Welder will have the opportunity to merge their passion for the art of welding with our mission to provide cutting-edge maple equipment.

CONDITIONS
Overall remuneration including:

Work schedule of four (4) day per week with flexible hours;
Eleven (11) statutory holidays;

DAY TO DAY
Perform TIG welding on stainless steel components, ensuring precision and accuracy;
Weld various thicknesses and shapes of stainless steel using TIG welding equipment;
Prepare stainless steel materials for welding by cleaning, beveling, and grinding surfaces;
Verify the quality and dimensions of materials before initiating the welding process;
Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications to understand welding requirements;
Inspect welded joints and structures to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications;
Identify and rectify defects or imperfections in the welding process;
Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a safe working environment;
Use personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow safety procedures during welding activities;
Perform routine maintenance on TIG welding equipment to ensure optimal performance.
THE SKILLS WE ARE LOOKING FOR
High school diploma or equivalent with a minimum of two years of experience as a Welder;
Ability to read blueprints, schematics and manuals;
Strong ability to perform as an individual as well as part of a team;
Capable of multi-tasking.
