Medical/Vision/Dental/Rx plans Holiday Pay Teladoc (online care) Referral Bonus Incentive Weekly Pay 401k And More Welder Details: Temp-to-Hire position $22.00 to $25.00 /hour Full Time work available Weekend work required Various shifts available (Sunday through Saturday from 06:00am to 06:00pm) Equipment and processes include gas metal arc welding (GMAC), flux core arc welding (FCAW), shielded metal arc welding (SMAW), submerged arc welding (SAW) and flame/plasma gouging Maintain a safe, clean and orderly work environment by following all safety protocols and performing routine housekeeping and workplace organization Setup manual welding, automated welding and flame/plasma cutting equipment by setting parameters and making adjustments Prepare welding joints and repair surface/weld imperfections using flame/plasma cutting equipment and grinding Welder Qualifications: Perform daily maintenance inspections on equipment and correct minor issues Operate material handling equipment, overhead crane and rigging, to fit-up and relocate tower section components Minimum of 3 years welding experience in a heavy fabrication industry or combination of Welding courses and welding work experience through an accredited technical school or apprentice program Must be able to read and interpret production drawings and technical work instructions Applicant may be subject to a background check Pre-employment drug screen (Excluding THC) is required as a condition of employment A conviction record will not necessarily prevent you from being employed.
