You will serve as a WELDER in the DEPARTMENT OF NAVY to include work sites of Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard, and Puget Sound Naval Shipyard.

Responsibilities

  • You will be identifying and associating metals, alloys and filler metal by color code and standard markings.

  • You will be producing welds to the acceptance standards of NDT, strength, tightness or pressure tests.

  • You will be using test methods for determining metals or alloys.

  • You will be inspecting completed welding projects.

  • You will be using various welding machines and welding processes to weld piping parts or structures.

Travel Required

Occasional travel - You may be expected to travel for this position.
