Our Jacksonville Ship Repair facility is seeking to hire various skill levels from Journeyman level production welders' step 1 to step 3 and above mechanics.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills Must have a basic understanding of the Military standard 1688 and 1689 for surface and submarine fabrication.
Demonstrate the ability to pass the following including FCAW with ceramic tape, single Vee and open butt in 2G and 3G positions.
Demonstrate ability to perform GMAW pulse and spray arc in all positions.
3 to 5 years' experience in shop fabrication preferred.
Must be able to obtain and maintain Defense Biometric Identification Systems "DBIDS" access badge.Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills High School Diploma Graduate or GED Equivalency Certificate/Diploma.
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $35048 - $62400
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
