Key Job Responsibilities

• Develop manpower schedules, direct hourly workforce, flexibility in working overtime and weekends if needed to accomplish goals, departmental milestones, and deadlines.

• Supervise hourly workforce to Komatsu policies, procedures, 5S, and safety standards.

• Oversee quality of work to AWS D1.1 welding standards and Komatsu weld standards.

• Coordinate internal collaboration with other departments (CWI, planners, managers, engineering) to meet customer commitments in a timely manner.

• Able to establish weld repair and fabrication work scopes and provide formal quotes for regional customer base.

Qualifications/Requirements

• (5-7) years supervisory experience in related field (AWS D1.1welding, heavy fabrication, and repairs to large mining equipment).

• Ability to read and interpret structural drawings, machining drawings, and Komatsu operating procedures.

• Proficient with Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, and Power Point

• Execute to departmental monthly budget and financial requirements.

• Proficient in a customer facing role.
