Welcome Team Agent

We are adding to our Welcome Team for our Motel 6/Studio 6 property. Although this role is similar to many other guest service or front desk clerk positions, at Motel 6/Studio 6 we believe this role represents so much more.

You are the guest's first impression of our brand, and you set the tone for their experience at the property. Previous hospitality experience is great, but the ideal person leads with a Heart for Service, is charismatic and thoughtful and enjoys getting to know new people. You will also focus on guest-facing duties such as registration and creating a welcoming experience for those staying with us, along with jumping in and assisting with other property tasks where needed.

Part-time and full-time positions are available at our properties with occupancy determining hours available.

Responsibilities

What You Will Be Doing

  • Serve our guests by modeling excellent service by striving for warm hospitable interactions, as well as, anticipating needs , identifying and addressing guest issues.

  • Guest registration, collecting guest payments, making and confirming guest reservations and maintaining records of assigned and available rooms.

  • Maintain cleanliness and appearance of front lobby as well as ensure our guests and property team's safety by being diligent in reporting any safety or security issues.

  • Support your team by stepping in to perform any task that is asked of the property team with a willing and Heart for Service attitude.

Our Buyers are responsible for quotation activities, negotiations, selecting qualified suppliers, seeking alternate suppliers (when applicable), supplier negotiations (price, schedules and terms & conditions, to include software licenses), documentation write-up, and post-award management associated with Teaming Agreements, Long Term Agreements, Time & Material, and FFP subcontracts for COTS and labor procurements that meet the criteria of a Certified Purchase System Review (CPSR) accredited purchasing system. You will work with the Program to identify and qualify new suppliers to meet customer requirements on new and existing task orders. As a Buyer, you will interface with multiple project managers, prime contract administrators, and the management of numerous subcontractors. Responsibilities: * Lead formal negotiations (price, schedule, and supplier exceptions) to contractual requirements. * Perform and comprehend price analyses, source selection/justification * Review purchase requisitions for clarity, compliance, detail, completeness, and obtain additional information considered necessary. * Actively manage the procurement process from order placement through receipt of products and subsequent payment of invoices. * Actively manage supplier performance through consistent communication to ensure proper adherence to purchase order terms and conditions * Participate in the invoice approval process to ensure that supplier invoices are in accordance with purchase order terms and conditions, and resolve issues as necessary. * Review proposals, negotiates prices and terms, selects or recommends suppliers, analyzes trends, follows up on orders placed, verifies delivery, approves payment, and maintains necessary records. * Prepares bid packages * Provides procurement support for proposal efforts as required * Maintain a working knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulation and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (FAR) Boeing is the world's largest aerospace company and leading manufacturer of commercial airplanes and defense, space and security systems.
