Overview

PURPOSE

As a Brand Influencer you will be responsible for representing Facebook Oculus and Portal devices by visiting a retail location conducting demonstrations, driving sales, ensuring the product is being represented correctly, and ensuring relationships within the stores are developed and maintained. This is a permanent part-time opportunity working approximately 15 hours per week on Saturday and Sunday.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Be the Brand Champion; fully understand the features and benefits of Facebook products

  • Increase the consumer sales through proactive engagement and demonstrations

  • Engage retail sales associates and create excitement to increase rate of recommendation

  • Maintain product displays and product functionality while in-store

  • Reporting and intelligence regarding the program and retail marketing environment

  • Obtain revenue per hour goals and earn incentives

  • Display a professional demeanor while representing Facebook and BDS

  • Strive to consistently meet sales goals and all program objectives.

  • Respond to supervisor requests and correspondence in a timely fashion

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • Experience in customer service or sales promotion at retail

  • Background in consumer electronics retail environment

  • Must be willing to work weekends, including Black Friday

  • Strong interest in technology and the ability to quickly learn new products and features

  • Self-starter with a strong commitment to drive results

  • Enthusiastic, highly motivated, and outgoing personality that is comfortable in a competitive environment

  • Strong communication and negotiation skills

  • Professional demeanor, excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Organized and detail-oriented

  • Strong problem solving and customer service skills

  • Access to smart phone (iPhone or Android)

Essential Duties & Responsibilities include but are not limited to: • Develops, trains, and directs Sales Representatives to achieve sales goals and placement objectives to ensure that company standards are met. • Leads all parts of the sales process including targeting appropriate accounts, selling, education, and positioning the candidate for success within the account. • May conduct strategic sales negotiations with key accounts. • Responsible for the development and success of supplier portfolio of brands. • Sets up schedules and appointments to obtain new accounts and to service existing accounts along with the Sales Representatives. • Survey market area, quotes, and orders to detect business trends and opportunities for new products or new applications for existing products. • May assist in the development of sales forecasts and scheduling of product. • Plans for activities by forcasting conditions, defining objectives and strategies, and securing resources. • Controls and manages sales perfomance by measuring and reporting results, evaluating and corrective performance, and administering polices and procedures. • Provides first line of customer support by using tools and techniques for documenting customer interactions, addressing circumstances and behaviors that lead to customer dissatisfaction, and asking questions that can facilitate progression from problem to resolution stage. • Organized activites by structuring the territories, delegating work, and staffing positions. • Provides leadership in making decisions, developing personnel, communicating with and motivating staff. • Provides sales training, brand awareness, and development direction to internal sales professionals and chain buyers • Plans and executes sales and promotional activities that effectively counter competitive trends by establishing goals for individual territories and distribution standards for individual brands. • Monitors and evaluated the activities and products of the competition. • Attend weekly sales meetings for the purpose of disseminating supplier information, product, and sales training to obtain feedback on effectiveness, efficiency, and relevance of the sales and promotional activities. • Ensures silo and full book sales teams are professionally and effectively selling suppliers' products, programs, and benefits compared to the competition. • Drives brand success via leadership selling against trade channels and actively supporting the selling efforts of Sales Representatives, District Managers, and Account Executives within the company. • Directly responsible for implementing all supplier merchandising objectives and executing company sales and merchandising plans for both the On & Off Premise channels of Alaska state. • Effectively manages use of all POS items. • Develops and maintains relationships with On & Off Premise key accounts. • Conducts team and individual meetings to ensure execution of company goals and objectives. • Regularly interacts with field management to update programming and brand priorities, brand standards and best practices leading to successful execution in the market. • Develops and implements brand focused programs to drive business that deliver measurable results. • Prepares and maintains required paperwork, reports, and records. • Manages selling expenses to authorized levels. • Prepares and executes appropriate promotions. • Attend and execute chain resets with local teams.
