Job Summary

Weekend Shift

RN's @ $24.35 plus an additional $1/hr. for 6:30p-6a shift!

LPN's @ $20.00 plus an additional $1/hr. for 6:30p-6a shift!

  • SF Village has a great opportunity for RN or LPN Nurses looking for alternatives to the Monday-Friday grind. We are hiring full-time Friday

  • Sunday shifts

  • 6am-6:30pm or 6:30pm

  • 6am (additional $1.00/hr. evening/night differential applies). We also have Sat.-Sun. part-time shifts available.

As a Charge Nurse-RN or LPN, you will be overseeing the care to residents in a caring, safe and efficient manner, Use your nursing skills in managing a variety of clinical situations from short term rehab to assisting residents with chronic and long term medical management. Lead care planning discussions, conduct assessments, and interact with the interdisciplinary team, physicians and families. Your direct involvement in clinical situations with an ever changing resident population keeps your skills fresh and each day different and to achieve high quality resident care outcomes.

  • Receive customized orientation to help you be successful in your RN or LPN charge nurse role.

  • Participate in nurse specific learning opportunities to continue to grow in your skills.

RN - $22.35-$24.44 plus $2.00 Weekend/$1.00, evening/night shift differentials available.

LPN - $18.00-$19.68 plus $2.00 Weekend/$1.00, evening/night shift differentials available.

What you'll do: For residents, you'll promote a positive living experience by maintaining privacy and meeting medical requirements as determined by their physician, as well as observing and documenting resident care each day.

You'll help administer medication, maintain appropriate health records and assist with resident care plans. You'll also work with families and leadership to understand daily care and medication needs.

Your role also will include direct resident care at times, helping residents with all necessary personal care. You'll help as needed with transferring, repositioning and walking using correct and appropriate techniques and equipment.

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Prior work experience in like or related position preferred.

Maintains required certification / qualifications and associated standards. Licensure for state of practice is required.

Knowledge of basic nursing skills; knowledge and familiarity with the therapeutic effects and side effects of all medications administered.

Responsible for utilizing the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes/planning, implementation and evaluation) to provide individualized nursing care to patients. Collaborates with other inter-professional colleagues, including physicians, to plan, implement and evaluate care. Demonstrates competency and practices within the full scope of nursing expertise/knowledge and utilizes appropriate age and population specific standards as designated in their assigned clinical setting. Cares for patients in all phases of preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up as patients move along the continuum of care. Responsible for the planning and coordination of care, patient assessment, patient education, triage, and various other nursing interventions. Functions within the scope and standards of nursing practice as outlined in the Nurse Practice Act and Administrative Rules in state of practice and licensure. Scheduled work hours will vary dependent on patient and unit needs. This may include overtime, nights, weekends, and holidays. POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES Adapts easily to changing work demands. Coordinates and manages care for patients, including those with complex needs. Demonstrates an ability to adapt to continuous change in work demands. Demonstrates an expectation that there will be ongoing shifts in demands and priorities. Effectively delegates and supervises unlicensed personnel, students, and new trainees within their defined scope while assuming overall nursing accountability for patient care. Implements healthcare policies and ethical requirements when providing clinical services. Offers effective feedback to patient and family members regarding health. Performs age related patient assessments and nursing interventions. Responsible for promoting a safe environment for patients, families, staff and visitors and works collaboratively with the multi-disciplinary health care team to provide the best outcomes for patients. DEPARTMENT DETAILS QUALIFICATIONS Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state. Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications, for example but not limited to: Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC), and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) as determined by assignment.
