Weekend Caregiver/ PCA

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care assistance to clients including bathing, grooming, and hygiene needs.
• Assist with mobility and transfers to ensure safety and comfort.
• Support clients with meal preparation and feeding as needed.
• Administer medication reminders and monitor health conditions according to established care plans.
• Engage clients in daily activities to promote mental and emotional well-being.
• Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe living environment.
• Document and report any changes in clients' physical or emotional condition to appropriate personnel.

Requirements

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and families.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively while providing care.
• Previous experience in a caregiving or healthcare role preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in following care plans.
• Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others and provide quality care.
• Availability to work weekends and flexibility in scheduling as necessary.
