FLSmidth Winfield is searching for a skilled and experienced machine operator who can effectively manage and oversee our complex cylinder machine. As the machine operator, you will ensure that our company produces high-quality products that meet the engineering drawings, FLSmidth, and client standards. The ideal candidate will be a highly skilled professional with excellent attention to detail and mechanical aptitude. You must have comprehensive knowledge of cylinder machine operations to excel in this role.

Your responsibilities

• Setting up and managing machines' performance.

• Translating engineering drawings and requirements into dimensions for production.

• Ensuring the machine operates according to company guidelines.

• Overseeing the machines while they execute tasks and making necessary changes to produce improved results.

• Checking machinery daily to guarantee functionality.

• Recording all machine actions by completing production and quality logs.

• Communicating logistics issues that arise in the process of creating a product.

• Ensuring that the results of the machining process align with client expectations.

• Conducting regular machine assessments.

What you bring

• High school diploma or equivalent qualification required.

• Five years' experience as a machine operator.

• Ability to translate mechanical documents and engineering drawings.

• Great attention to detail with a goal-driven attitude.

• Strong comprehension and analytical abilities.

• Good computer and mathematical skills.

• Be a self-motivated team player.
