WeCAB- Volunteer Management & System Enhancement Coordinator

WeCAB, serving Westonka & Carver County, is on a mission to provide safe, affordable, and flexible transportation through our volunteer network. Since 2011, WeCAB has offered over 14,500 rides, assisting job seekers, seniors, single moms, and others with essential transport needs.

Last fiscal year alone, our 46 volunteers facilitated 2,238 rides, traveling 30,370 miles and dedicating 1,350 hours. Our volunteers are our backbone, and as WeCAB expands, there's a pressing need for advanced volunteer management and systems enhancement. We seek a VISTA member to refine our processes, creating a sustainable, scalable volunteer program.

With your help, we'll be better equipped to understand and scale according to our community's demands, ensuring WeCAB's legacy of service endures. In exchange for your service, you will receive approximately $1,755/month, choice of a $6,495 education award or $1,800 end of service stipend. Member Duties : • Audit and enhance the Internal Ride Scheduler system to ensure efficient measurable outcomes. • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data and volunteer management requirements. • Develop, test, and finalize strategies for improved data collection and volunteer engagement. • Overhaul volunteer manuals, training materials, processes, and technology for sustainability and growth. • Analyze the current volunteer-to-rider ratio, optimizing for present and future demands.
