WJXT/Graham Media Group, Inc. in Jacksonville, Florida is looking for a part-time Associate Producer.

Details:

We are looking for future producers and this is the perfect position to learn the ropes. You will produce for the web and social media.

In addition, you will assist producers in all aspects of producing a newscast. Responsibilities include writing stories and teases, editing, graphics, research, and monitoring news feeds. You will be assigned other duties as needed, such as filling in on the assignment desk.

Experience:

Prefer college degree in journalism or communications.

Requirements:

Must be able to work flexible hours including overnights, weekends and holidays. We are only interested in candidates who want to become a future newscast producer.

This position will report to the Digital Manager, who is responsible for overall digital strategy.</p><p>In this role, you will be responsible for digital content creation - including in breaking news, sports and weather events. You will be involved in launching live streams, writing articles, editing videos, creating social graphics and working with reporters to have daily content showcased to its highest potential across platforms.</p><p>You will help reinforce our brand identity through engaging social media content that drives awareness for our products.
