Webmaster

Responsible for developing and providing content that will motivate and captivate users so that they regularly access the website and utilize it as a major source for information and decision making. Responsible for managing/performing website editorial activities including gathering and researching information that will enhance the value of the site. Locates, negotiates, and pursues content for the website and seeks out customers to gather feedback for website improvements and enhancements.

Job Responsibilities

1.Technical Skills

• Oversees daily maintenance of all websites associated with FranU.

• Responsible for answering e-mail inquiries regarding the website, updating pertinent information, and drafting messages for university Internet communications.

• Supervises technical support for website. Tracks and trends Internet usage for all FranU sites. Develops and implements strategies based on best practices.

• Help with Search Engine Optimization (SEO) content on the University website.

2.Quality

• Maintains a high level of awareness throughout the university for necessary information that will keep the website current and robust.

• Provides counsel and support to departments requesting web related activities or initiatives.

• Promotes the quality and efficiency of his/her own performance by remaining current with the latest trends regarding the Internet and specific applications for FranU.

3.Other Duties as Assigned

Job Requirements

Experience At least two (2) years' experience in production management, web page design, HTML, ASP, web graphics, and Search Engine Optimization (SEO)

Education Bachelor's Degree
