The position reports to the Dean of the College and works with a variety of college/department staff to develop and maintain website enhancements and modifications that assure accuracy and easy access from a variety of learning environments. In keeping with organizational policies, directions and goals, works to create content and maintains its logical structure; develops/adapts existing content to present an accessible internet presence for the college that reflects the college leadership priorities.
Assesses new standards, technologies and trends; and formulates strategies and plans for future enhancement of websites. Produces a consistent visual online image, including maintenance of templates and image archives. Demonstrates strong interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community.
Troubleshoots and repairs bugs, problems and image links. Demonstrates the ability to work independently and as a member of a work team. Creates, composes and edits written materials to document work projects.
Assists to maintain the working order of two college-based computer labs. Responds to web designer mail, provides and analyzes traffic statistics and reports. Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
