UBM is seeking a talented individual to join the Pharma/Science team in the role of Webcast Producer.

Our events serve a tremendous variety of different industry sectors from furniture to fashion to pharma. In total we serve over 50 different communities.

Work with publication/sales teams and editorial teams to manage and produce sponsored webcasts from inception to completion; includes working with sales team, marketing team, sponsors and editors in all aspects of scheduling, managing, producing and executing live and on-demand webcast events, including setting live event dates, coordinating technical aspects with third party vendor(s), event creation and event moderation (when needed), interfacing with and managing the relationship with sponsors and speakers.
Manages technology vendor interaction for each Webcast deployment (sets up event, registration page); serves as the liaison between the customer, sales, marketing and the vendor to ensure that expectations are being met.
Collaborates with sales, marketing and sponsor(s) to develop marketing campaigns via email; compiles and coordinates marketing material including print ads, email promotions, newsletter/website listings and banner ads. Works closely with the Marketing Manager who coordinates the ad placements/eblasts.
Collects, reviews, edits (in conjunction with editorial) and disseminates webcast presentation material.
Conducts speaker training for presenters on webcast platform.
Schedules and conducts speaker rehearsals
Serves as the moderator for promotional webcasts (as needed)
Prepares the event script for the moderator to read the day of the webcast and housekeeping slides
Uploads the final PPT presentation and reviews it to ensure that the slides appear correctly
Supervises, manages and produces live webcasts; facilitates questions and answers with the sponsor and serves as event time-keeper.
Schedules, manages and produces prerecorded and simulive events, works closely with sales, marketing, client and UBM project manager to execute on-demand events.
Creates webcast registration pages and Magazine vanity URL's and manages changes and updates them accordingly after the webcast airs
Posts each webcast to Magazine website
Compiles and publishes regular yearly Webcast calendars.
Holds weekly calls with the sales team to update team on registration numbers, marketing/promotional status and what is needed to boost registration.
Analyze webcast numbers; work with team to increase numbers (social media, list selects for eblasts to engage the right audience)
Prepares reports on key metrics of webcasts for sponsor, sales representative and Emedia team.
Produces Podcast recordings including but not limited to: preparing scripts for moderator, producing recordings and sending the raw files and script to vendor
Attends training and conferences as needed
Works on ad-hoc assignments as directed
Bachelors degree in communications, journalism, graphic design, or a related field or equivalent professional experience
Two+ years experience in coordinating digital products.
Strong publishing and/or conference knowledge and familiarity with the following applications: Content Management Systems (Drupal a big plus), understanding of FTP file transfers; Microsoft Office.
High degree of communication both written and verbal, excellent time management skills with high attention to detail, be experienced at successfully managing multitask projects and be willing to integrate constructive suggestions from others
Individual must write well and should be able to develop and perform quality training if necessary.
Able to juggle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
Travel less than 10% (attend one of our conferences to see in person either local by car or via plane)
