OPS Consulting is seeking an experienced Web & UX Designer with demonstrated experience designing and developing graphical user interfaces for navigating complex engineering designs.Required Experience:
  • Demonstrated experience in planning designing, and programming Web sites using MediaWiki including MediaWiki templates and extensions (e.g. Semantic MediaWiki)
  • Demonstrated experience designing, developing, and implementing intuitive user navigation strategies for different user bases
  • Demonstrated experience managing multi-media content in MediaWiki (in particular text, mathematical equations, and images)
  • Demonstrate experience developing and enforcing design/layout standards for dynamically updated content
  • Demonstrated experience generating summary reports from Wiki content
  • Experience supporting scientific and engineering users
  • Experience with both Windows and Linux environments
  • Experience with IC plugins for integration with IC security processes
  • Experience developing solutions in stand-alone environments (no Internet access)
  • Required Skills: MediaWiki, HTML, CSS, PHP, JavaScript, Python, SQL
Desired Experience:
  • Installation, maintenance, and upgrading MediaWiki installations
  • Content and knowledge management
  • Implementation of access control and security policies
  • Graphics design
  • Containerization using Docker
  • Wiki user training
  • Desired Skills: Perl, C/C++, Java-based client-server architectures, system administration on Linux systems
  • Seven (7) years of experience in Systems Engineering with demonstrated experience in Web & UX Design.
  • Bachelor's degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
  • Five (5) years of additional experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
Security Clearance:
  • A current government clearance, background investigation, and polygraph are required.

See benefit listings at end.</p><p>Operate high resolution, variable print proprietary imaging equipment. Program and prepare jobs for printing. <br><br> Maintain daily print job production logs and daily delivery manifests. Setup, program and release jobs from print queue. Adjust image position. <br><br> Color quality and resolution, perforations and folds on paper, etc. Monitor quality of job output for correctness and image quality. Order supplies such as ink, chemical solutions, blankets and rollers, paper, tabs, and other items as needed. Maintain inventory levels.</p><p>Requires excellent knowledge of digital print and/or ink jet equipment set up, adjustment, operating procedures, and a corresponding level of skill to set up, operate, and adjust the equipment. Able to set up, operate, and adjust the equipment, and in addition, diagnose, solve, and correct operating problems affecting the quality and timeliness of the service or product or function. <br><br> Requires knowledge of color theory and ability to make adjustments and color corrections when operating the equipment to produce the imaging to customer specifications. Good knowledge of file manipulation and file formats for digital print. Good knowledge and ability to set up feed rollers, tensioning, timing and in-line finishing per job specifications. <br><br> May instruct junior level operators how to complete the required corrective adjustment.
