Our team develops innovative and transformative customer-centric web and digital experiences for Facebook Business and the entire Family of Apps and Services including Instagram Business, WhatsApp Business, Messenger Business, Workplace and more.

The Web Strategist will drive performance and optimization of our largest and most important marketing sites and experiences. This individual will partner with marketers, data analysts, creatives, and engineering teams to deliver powerful data-driven insights to drive awareness, engagement, satisfaction and conversion across our marketing websites.

This role will work collaboratively to identify opportunities and solutions that support business goals and move our internal partners' objectives forward in meaningful ways. While the core focus of the role will be on web experiences, the Web Strategist will also help drive initiatives that extend into content strategy, content marketing, social media engagements, and product flows and goals.

You will be responsible for optimizing the site experience to hit company and business-level goals. You will use data and your experience to become a trusted partner and advisor. You will be a thought leader on trends and digital innovation from creative to engineering to evolve the current web and digital experiences.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Understand customer personas, preferences and objectives through in lab research and data analysis

Monitor web metrics to provide recommendations or highlight trends

Provide data-driven insights which directly support business goals

Maintain a deep understanding of web experiences and identify unique opportunities to leverage content, creative, and technology that may drive or influence execution

Leverage industry and competitive trends to influence web roadmap and new feature requests

Setup and manage A/B tests and measurement frameworks to track web performance

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • 12+ years of experience in a website marketing/digital experience function within a technology company or a digital agency

Experience in creating digital or marketing strategies along with knowledge of the technologies and tactics needed for execution

Analytical experience including developing hypotheses, data analytics, and synthesizing insights & recommendations

Experience planning/conducting/analyzing qualitative and quantitative research

Knowledge of analytics and data tracking tools

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience with SQL & data analytics

Experience developing digital strategies at B2B or top tech companies

Experience managing at least one digital channel - SEO, SEM, Social, Web

Intellectual curiosity and ability to absorb new concepts quickly

Hands-on thinker and problem solver with the ability to think critically and logically

Strong communication skills with the ability to own the room and effectively present ideas and work
