Job Description:

This position requires the individual to hand-code HTML and CSS and to publish their markup via an intricate content management system (CMS) to the MyMerrill and Merrill Edge client-facing Websites.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum 3 years' experience using a CMS at a client-facing or internal-facing web site.

  • Minimum 3 years' experience with HTML (hand-coding)

  • Minimum 3 years' experience with CSS (hand-coding)

  • Strong communication skills

  • Must have proven ability to manage multiple projects at once

DAY-TO-DAY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Review requests from business partners for ADA compliance, proper legal approvals, and adherence to brand guidelines and business strategies

  • Code HTML to business and user-experience specifications.

  • Work with business partners to obtain appropriate legal and business review and approvals before and after production content pushes

  • Work with technology partners on content integration into technology applications

PREFERRED SKILLS:

  • Javascript, CSS layout, and responsive design

  • Editing and writing skills

  • Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) knowledge

  • Familiarity with financial concepts

  • Familiarity with PhotoShop and other graphics programs
