Summary of Work
Will assist in all aspects of maintaining DOT internal and external websites. This involves modifying existing web pages and developing and designing new pages. May also assist in maintenance and/or development of ASP.Net web applications written in VB or C# through the use of Microsoft Visual Studio.
Knowledge of HTML, HTML5 and CSS.
Ability to develop and modify web pages through the use of web page development software such as Adobe Dreamweaver.
Understanding use of stylesheet to control the layout and design of web pages.
Knowledge of relational databases. Preference will be given to individuals with a practical knowledge of SQL Server and SQL Server scripting experience.
Software development class(es). Preference will be given to individuals with a practical knowledge of ASP.Net, VB, C#.
Experience with Visual Studio and Adobe Dreamweaver software.
Understanding of XHTML, XML, and XSL.
Usage of validation tools to test web pages for ADA compliance.
Knowledge of Google Analytics.
Knowledge of content management systems (CMS)."
Applicants must be enrolled in an undergraduate degree program. All internships are paid full-time summer positions.
