Toll Brothers, America's leading luxury home builder, is seeking a Web Development Manager for our Corporate office located in Fort Washington, Pennsylvania.
What is the opportunity?
Step into the role of Web Development Manager, where you will lead our web development team in the planning, scheduling, and execution of front-end and back-end development for our websites and web applications.
Collaborating with the Web Development Director and key stakeholders, you'll be at the helm of defining project scopes and orchestrating the efforts of our development and design teams to meet production schedules. Your role is critical in devising solutions for complex challenges across multiple systems, ensuring Toll Brothers remains at the cutting edge of technology. What are the primary responsibilities?
Partner with Toll team leaders to plan, develop, and enhance their online presence and web-based tools, offering expert suggestions for
Manage, assign, and organize tickets, bugs, and epics across multiple Jira projects and other project management systems such as Workfront and Azure DevOps
Lead and distribute work among a team of developers for the development and maintenance of com, community microsites, ancillary business sites, and web applications
Engage with stakeholders to fully understand their needs, converting these into technical specifications for the required apps or websites
Guide, train, and mentor developers through technical challenges, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement
Transform designs and business requirements into functional website components, prioritizing user experience and quality
Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices and suggest improvements to maintain high development standards
Identify and solve technical issues in development, testing, and production environments, maintaining system stability and performance
All other duties as assigned

Do you have these qualifications?
Essential:
7 years of experience building functioning and responsive websites
3 years of experience leading development teams
Bachelor's in Computer Science or related discipline (or equivalent experience)
Expert-level understanding of NextJS or ReactJS
Expert-level understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
Ability to convert a comp from Figma/Sketch/Photoshop into responsive semantic markup for the web
Expert level of understanding of Git
Experience with setting up and managing software development projects in Jira
Knowledge of best practices for SEO
Understanding of Progressive Web Apps and Core Web Vitals
Preferred:
Familiar with unit testing and end-to-end testing with Cypress, Playwright, or similar tools
Experience with setting up and managing software development projects in Amazon Web Services (AWS)
Ability to use and update Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics
