Web Designer Intern

Essential Duties & Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with our team to create visually appealing and user-friendly websites on the WordPress platform

• Collaborate closely to gather content for the website, including images, text, and other assets

• Design website layouts and user interfaces

• Maintaining brand standards across marketing materials. • Maintain professionalism with company employees, clients, and vendors.

• Craft email newsletters and online outreach campaigns to engage users and drive traffic to the site

• Produce proofs for review and make revisions based on the feedback received

• Other activities, duties, and responsibilities as assigned.

Job Requirements

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of typography, layout, color theory, and the latest design tools including Adobe Creative Suite

• A general proficiency in front end web graphic design and basic HTML web development is preferred.

• Able to quickly learn and process information, take direction, follow tasks through to completion, and work in deadline-driven and team environment

• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams

• Time management skills with the ability to adhere to project budgets and deadlines

• Understanding of current and emerging digital design conventions and usability concepts

• The successful candidate will have the chance to work closely with experienced professionals and gain valuable hands-on experience in website design and management
