The Web Content Manager will develop and manage content for the Grand View University website. Content can be written materials, photos, videos and interactive electronic tools. They will also create and manage University e-newsletters, admission emails and additional digital communications.

Essential Functions:
1.Write and implement content for University website.
2.Ensure that the sites are fresh, effective and up to date on a daily basis.
3.During significant revisions of either site, write and load content as needed.
4.Interact with students, faculty, staff and alumni to gather information and active support for the websites.
5.Work with videographer to conceptualize and create engaging video content for the websites.
6.Undertake ongoing analysis of the sites through Google Analytics, user testing and occasional surveys to determine effectiveness of the sites and recommend modifications.
7.Write and manage recruiting emails and other forms of electronic communication as needed.
8.In collaboration with Manager of Social Media and Public Relations, implement social media strategies for student recruiting, working with Admissions and others to create awareness for GV and appropriate interaction on a variety of social media platforms.
9.Work with the rest of the marketing team to share content and help develop marketing materials.

1.Superior writing skills.
2.Knowledge of web content management.
3.Some knowledge of HTML.
4.Marketing orientation; ability to write copy that sells and that is appropriate for the web and other electronic communications.
5.Experience with Google Analytics, user testing and use of survey data to determine effectiveness of electronic communications.
6.Management of recruiting emails and other forms of digital media.
7.Ability to learn the admissions process and take the initiative in keeping the website fresh and effective on a daily basis.
8.Ability to work effectively and collaboratively with Admissions and Marketing staff, as well as faculty and others on campus.
9.Bachelor's degree in marketing, English, journalism, communications or related field or demonstrated equivalent.

Typical hours for the position are 8:15 - 4:30 during the academic year and 8:00 - 4:00 during the summer.

This role will formulate end-to-end strategies and processes to deliver a superior product offering tailored to the client's individual needs and requirements. Under your direction, you will plan, lead, and execute projects with multiple team members to completion. This role interfaces with internal and external customers, vendors, support teams, and others to deliver solutions that cater to our website clients. You will need to demonstrate expert proficiency with website development and fulfillment, and local technologies through use of best practices. This role is vital to website client relations by performing initial setup calls, project scope estimation, vendor management, project creation, and timely delivery of client deliverables. About Your Responsibilities * Manage incoming website build requests and scope fulfillment requirements for new clients. * Communicate with website fulfillment team to create project workflow, coordinate tasks, understand client deadlines, and allocate budget for each project. * Manage client expectations, communication, and performance metrics * Answer strategic website related questions for the sales field and clients throughout the sales process. * Responsible for tracking all aspects of assigned projects, and maintaining accurate schedules for client deliverables. * Train clients, staff and outside vendors on project, and process management tools. * Maintain weekly project updates regarding deliverable status and project progress. * Serve as the main point of contact to vendor partners for outsourced deliverables. * Assist with on-boarding sessions between the website fulfillment team and client. * Incorporate constantly evolving technologies and processes into the client solution delivery process, and actively seek to improve daily operations. * Communicate the customer goals, and represent the customer interests to the web fulfillment team. About You * BA in Business, Management or related field * Must be proficient in MS Office Applications (Powerpoint, Word, and Excel) * Strong background in website development technologies, digital communications, and project management. * 2-3 years account and/or project management experience, preferably with a digital or technology background. * Ability to quickly master business processes, operations, and new web technology concepts. * Demonstrated expertise in customer relationship management. * Advanced capabilities to effectively manage and coordinate digital development projects. * Strong technical skills to establish, assess, modify/adjust, and routinely improve website development requests. * Demonstrated expertise with digital marketing and processes a plus. * Strong verbal and written communication skills Gannett Co., Inc. is a proud equal opportunity employer.
