Reporting to the Manager, Web Strategy & Analytics, the Web Content Manager will work closely with our global Marketing team to help define our website strategy, including navigation, content, and user experience.

This role will directly manage all web content for our global suite of sites, including managing sites in multiple languages and geographies. The Web Content Manager will work closely with our marketing and product teams to write elegant copy that adheres to high SEO standards and best practices, including conducting keyword research on the best content and word choices to use that serves the dual purpose of conveying product/company strategy, and making sure we have a high organic search impact.

The Web Content Manager will be required to map out content flows, including working with Engineering and UX designers to optimize the user journey on our sites. The ideal candidate will have experience managing multiple high value web properties for different types of users, and will be familiar with various optimization and analytics tools to evaluate web performance.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Own all web copy for our global web properties in multiple languages, ensuring all content is current, technically accurate, and available in each geographic region

  • Maintain a clear and consistent brand voice that adheres to Datto's brand guidelines, and make recommendations for updates to the brand voice when necessary

  • Collaborate with Product Marketing for technical content and bring together the disciplines of technical marketing, content marketing, and search optimization

  • Understand and respond to metrics and performance data to adjust and improve the website content

  • Develop and manage detailed project plans and schedules


  • 5+ years managing web content in multiple geographic regions

  • Experience in a medium-to-large B2B organization with multiple content disciplines

  • Proven track record of delivering on goals and metrics

  • Ability to easily shift from strategic thinking to execution on the fly

  • A portfolio demonstrating precise, engaging content that is accessible to multiple audience types

  • Experience working with translators and content in multiple languages

This position will own the brand voice and identity, infusing it not only in editorial content but also throughout the product and experience. This role will drive acquisition through content creation and execution on a variety of platforms. It will work collaboratively with SEO, Product, and Marketing to integrate editorial into the entire party planning journey and experience on The Bash. RESPONSIBILITIES: * Own content strategy and creation to drive acquisition and engagement. * Establish the brand voice and identity for The Bash and ensure it is adhered to in all created content. * Managed and topline edit content contributors. * Research trends and create content which positions us as an authority in the space. * Work closely with the SEO team on keyword research to determine content opportunities and implement best practices for optimization. * Collaborate with product and design on content experience, visual product updates, and editorial guidance implementation. * Collaborate with marketing team to drive PR. Speak as the expert and lend expertise for content created (quotes and scripts for third-party articles and/or in-person interviews). * Perform photo research and develop requirements and brand standards for displaying imagery in both content and the marketplace. * Work with the social media team on content distribution to drive acquisition through the appropriate channels. * Own our Pinterest strategy as a vehicle for driving brand awareness and acquisition. * Create content for a variety of mediums: onsite product experience, PR, social, editorial, email, etc. SUCCESSFUL ASSOCIATE CONTENT MANAGERS HAVE: * Minimum 3+ years driving an editorial calendar, creating content and executing on strategy. * Outstanding writer and editor with exceptional attention to detail. * Results driven, obsessed with analytics and identifying opportunity and driving impact. * Works well cross-functionally, particularly with Product, SEO, Marketing and Design teams. * Ability to manage multiple projects at one time, prioritizing and organizing effectively. * Firm understanding of SEO best practices and principles. * Strong commitment to timelines, accuracy, and professionalism. * Data-driven approach to driving acquisition. * Enthusiastic and self-directed with the desire to take initiative. * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with all levels of management. * Positive attitude and enthusiasm for teamwork and driving impact. * Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
